Regional Lead for Africa
Jaqueline is the Regional Lead for Africa at the Global Digital Inclusion Partnership (GDIP), supporting the Women in the Digital Economy Fund (WiDEF). Jaqueline is a seasoned public policy specialist with over 14 years of working with policymakers, leading and advising teams, and identifying potential areas for investment and improvement of national digital capabilities.
Before joining GDIP, she worked at the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), where she led overall activities of the GFCE clearing house function, a matchmaking service between GFCE member countries with cyber capacity needs and GFCE partners with offers of expertise and resources. She has also served as Advisor to the Minister at Mozambique’s Ministry of Transport and Communication and Deputy Project Coordinator for the Mozambique eGovernment and Communications Infrastructure Project (MEGCIP), funded by the World Bank.
Jaqueline holds an Executive Master in Cybersecurity from Brown University. As a Chevening Scholar, she obtained an MSc in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Sussex. In her spare time, she leads Mozambique’s United World College (UWC) National Committee, a non-profit that selects bright and talented Mozambican students to benefit from scholarships to attend International Baccalaureate programs in various United World Colleges globally.
