Submarine Networks World 2024, the world’s largest annual gathering of the global subsea communications community, will take place on 25-26 September at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore.
Global Digital Inclusion Partnership Founder and Executive Director Sonia Jorge will deliver a keynote presentation, “Investing in digital inclusion – subsea cables”, on 25 September to discuss the role of subsea cables in achieving universal, meaningful connectivity.
In January, we published a policy brief to provide guidance and inform policy decisions to support the development and implementation of subsea cable policies that will further contribute to digital inclusion in the global majority. In line with promoting good practices for subsea cable policy in the regions, GDIP held workshops in Lilongwe, Malawi, with Smart Africa, and in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Telkom University, and will have more in Nairobi, Bahrain, and India later this year.
With more than 900 registered participants, 130+ confirmed speakers, 60+ sponsors and exhibitors, get ready for inspirational keynotes, lively and thought-provoking debates, new ideas, and new connections.
