An official event of T20, the G20 think tank group, “Meaningful Connectivity in the G20” is part of a series of webinars on Digital Policies in the G20 jointly organised by CTS-FGV, the UN University’s Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), Consumers International, and the Brazilian Institute for Consumer Protection.
In the webinar, Global Digital Inclusion Partnership (GDIP) Executive Director Sonia Jorge joined the panel of experts from various fields and discussed a wide range of perspectives on the challenges and strategies that G20 leaders need to address to promote sustainable, meaningful connectivity.
Moderated by CyberBRICS Director and GDIP board member Luca Belli and UNU-EGOV’s Larissa Galdino, the panel include Renata Mielli (Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology), Alexandre Barbosa (CETIC), Anriette Esterhuysen (Association for Progressive Communication), KS Park (University of Korea), Luã Cruz (Brazilian Consumer Protection Institute), and Ashta Kapoor (Aapti Institute).
